I have twenty-five years of academic experience at the University of Southern California, which I bring to SMFS’s cutting-edge, innovative medicine. Ours is a holistic approach, tending to both mind and body with uncommon individualized attention. Women 40 & Over

The increased rate of infertility and miscarriage seen in women over 40 years of age is primarily due to chromosomal errors that occur during egg and embryo development. Growing embryos in the artificial environment of the IVF laboratory puts further stress on developing embryos. We recently implemented our ZIFT program in women over 40.

In the Embryo ICU ^TM at Santa Monica Fertility Specialists, we monitor and customize the conditions under which each embryo develops—a departure from most contemporary IVF practice. We find that our individualized approach optimizes the health and development of each embryo.
